LEISING RECOGNIZES 4-H STUDENTS AT THE STATEHOUSE: State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg, podium) welcomes 4-H students to the Statehouse Tuesday, Feb. 7. Leising presented Senate Concurrent Resolution 15, which recognizes 4-H students for their accomplishments as youth leaders. The 4-H program provides students across the state with community clubs, school enrichment opportunites, camps/workshops and special programs that provide real-life learning experiences they will use in the future. Before presenting SCR 15 on the Senate floor, Leising had the opportunity to meet with the students and answer their questions about state government.
