NORTH DECATUR FOURTH GRADERS VISIT STATEHOUSE: Fourth graders from North Decatur Elementary School recently toured the Statehouse, where they learned about the role of their state senator, Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg), the Indiana General Assembly, the Indiana Supreme Court and more. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions about state government.
"I am thankful our local schools give students the opportunity to learn more about their state government and am grateful for the opportunity to represent the needs of everyone in Senate District 42, both young and old," Leising said.

State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) represents Senate District 42,
which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties,
and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
