Leising: INvestEd visiting local schools

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STATEHOUSE (Oct. 23, 2026) – INvestEd will visit local schools in Senate District 42 next week to meet with families about paying for college, said State. Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg).

Representatives from INvestEd will be at South Decatur High School to meet with students on Tuesday, Oct. 27 during the day. Later that day, students and their families will be able to meet with INvestEd representatives at Jennings County High School at 6 p.m.

INvestEd is a free expert resource that gives parents and students guidance on how to plan for college and minimize student loan debt. They can also help with applying for the FAFSA.

"I want to thank INvestEd for working tirelessly to visit schools across Senate District 42 and the state," Leising said. "The services they offer are incredibly important, and I encourage students and their families to meet with INvestEd, even if they don't currently plan on going to college."

Leising encourages residents of Senate District 42 to contact her with any questions or comments they may have. Leising can be reached by filling out a "Contact Me" form online at www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Leising or by phone at 800-382-9467.
