Leo Jr./Sr. High School graduate gains experience
at Indiana Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 14, 2024) – Cameron Pannabecker is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2024 legislative session, said State Sen. Tyler Johnson (R-Leo).

Pannabecker, a resident of Leo, is the son of Daryl and Jenny Pannabecker. Pannabecker graduated from Leo Junior/Senior High School and is a graduate of Taylor University with a degree in politics, philosophy and economics.

"Interns play an integral role in the flow of session," Johnson said. "Every task they're assigned is important, no matter how big or small it seems. It's nice to have interns from the local community coming to gain experience at the Statehouse."

As a legislative intern, Pannabecker tracks and analyzes bill data, provides constituent services, staffs Senate committee hearings and meetings, and conducts legislative policy research.

Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by March 14.
