Indiana Senate Republicans are Recruiting at a Campus Near You!

Are you interested in learning more about how state government works while gaining professional experience? Look no further than the Indiana Senate Republican Caucus. We are now accepting internship applications for the 2026 legislative session, and our recruiters will be visiting colleges around the state to connect with students.

Our staff will be available to answer questions about our internship program and share what you can expect as an intern. Interested students will have the chance to connect with Senate staff, learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an intern and hear success stories of past participants.

When you stop by our table, you’ll be able to:

• Network with staff: Talk directly with Senate employees about the internship experience.
• Learn about daily life as an intern: Hear what a typical day looks like in the Statehouse, from attending committee hearings to helping draft press releases.
• Discover memorable experiences: Recruiters are often former interns who can share their positive experiences like building lasting friendships, making professional connections and walking away with skills that set them apart in today’s work environment.
• Get logistical support: We’ll help you think through important details like housing, transportation to Indianapolis and how to balance the internship with your academic schedule.
