at Indiana Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 14, 2024) – Taylor Coney is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2024 legislative session, said State Sen. Sue Glick (R-LaGrange).

Coney, a resident of Ligonier, is the daughter of Carey and Shellie Coney, and Dylan and Matt Kreager. Coney graduated from Central Noble Junior/Senior High School and is a junior at Purdue University studying business management.

"Our interns offer an immense amount of assistance, especially during session," Glick said. "Their work helps everything move more smoothly, and it's great to see interns from our area gaining professional experience here at the Statehouse."

As a legislative intern, Coney tracks and analyzes bill data, provides constituent services, staffs Senate committee hearings and meetings, and conducts legislative policy research.

"I am beyond humbled to have this opportunity to learn more about the work Senators do on behalf of Hoosiers at the state level," Coney said.

Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by March 14.
