Gaskill to chair Senate Committee on Elections

STATEHOUSE (Nov. 20, 2023) – State Sen. Mike Gaskill (R-Pendleton) has been appointed by Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Elections for the 2024 session of the Indiana General Assembly.

"I am honored to have been chosen to serve as chairman of the Senate Committee on Elections," Gaskill said. "I look forward to the challenge of maintaining and improving the integrity of our elections by working with my fellow senators on the committee and with the House Committee on Elections."

The 2024 legislative session will ceremonially begin with Organization Day on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session in early January.
