FORD PRESENTS CIRCLE OF CORYDON AWARD TO SUPERINTENDENT DR. DANNY TANOOS: State Sen. Jon Ford (R-Terre Haute, left) presents Dr. Danny Tanoos (right), retiring superintendent of Vigo County School Corporation (VCSC), with a Circle of Corydon Award. The Circle of Corydon Award honors Hoosiers who have made remarkable contributions to the betterment of Indiana and its people, demonstrating through life and service qualities exemplified by the state's greatest citizens. Tanoos became interim superintendent in July 1998 and has served as superintendent of VCSC since February 1999. He will retire July 1 after a nearly 40-year career with VCSC.
