Statement from State Sen. Cyndi Carrasco
State Sen. Cyndi Carrasco (R-Indianapolis) made the following statement today in response to
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 23, 2024) – “Today the Indiana Senate passed Senate Resolution 3, which memorializes the late State Sen. Jack E. Sandlin.
“The passing of Sen. Sandlin was an immense tragedy. His service and spirited character preceded him.
“I am inspired by the love and dedication Jack showed for his community and his continuous efforts to fight to make his community, state and country always better. I hold on to that drive and keep it in mind while serving Senate District 36. I will continue to support efforts and future legislation that supports causes close to Jack and I’s hearts such as veterans affairs, public safety, and support for first responders and law enforcement.
“I am honored to serve Senate District 36 and support this resolution to honor the great man and leader that Jack Sandlin was.”
