The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is now accepting applications for the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship. This scholarship, which I voted to create in 2016, gives aspiring teachers the chance to earn up to $40,000 in financial aid in exchange for teaching at an Indiana school for five years after college graduation. The scholarship is open to high school seniors and college students.
