STATEHOUSE (Dec. 4, 2024) – State Sen. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services for the 124th Indiana General Assembly.
Charbonneau will also serve as a member of the following Senate committees:
"I am pleased to be continuing my role as chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services," Charbonneau said. "Committees give legislators a chance to hear from industry experts and members of the public as we weigh proposals that could have big impacts statewide. I look forward to working with my fellow lawmakers to pass legislation that will have a positive impact on Hoosiers throughout the state."

The 2025 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 19. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 8.
