STATEHOUSE (Feb. 14, 2024) – Jarrett Rowe is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2024 legislative session, said State Sen. Gary Byrne (R-Byrneville).

Rowe, a resident of Floyds Knobs, is the son of Michael Rowe and Sara Denzinger-Rowe. He graduated from Providence High School and is a senior at Indiana University studying business.

"Our interns have the opportunity to work directly with senators and staff to learn about the local and state government," Byrne said. "I am pleased to see Rowe take advantage of this valuable experience to develop his skills during his time at the Statehouse."

As a legislative intern, Rowe tracks and analyzes bill data, provides constituent services, staffs Senate committee hearings and meetings, and conducts legislative policy research.

"I am happy to be involved at the Statehouse and I look forward to learning about the legislative process during session," Rowe said.

Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by March 14.
