Brown to chair Senate Committee on Judiciary

STATEHOUSE (Dec. 9, 2022) – State Sen. Liz Brown (R-Fort Wayne) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary for the 123rd Indiana General Assembly.

Brown will also serve on the following Senate committees:

"I am pleased to be named the chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary again this year, where we are planning to work on a number of pressing issues," Brown said. "I am also looking forward to participating in Appropriations where we will be crafting the next biennial budget."

The 2023 legislative session ceremonially began with Organization Day on Nov. 22. The Senate is scheduled to reconvene for session Jan. 9.
