Bray names Senior Majority Fiscal Analyst

STATEHOUSE (June 28, 2019) — Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) today announced that Krista Rivera has been named Senior Fiscal Analyst for the Senate Majority Caucus.

Rivera currently serves as the Assistant Director of State Relations and Policy Analysis for Indiana University.

“I am excited to welcome Krista Rivera back to the Senate as our Senior Fiscal Analyst,” Bray said. “Krista is an extremely bright and talented woman who has worked for and with our caucus for a number of years. I have no doubt her talents will make her a strong addition to our team, and we look forward to having her back on board.”

Rivera previously worked as the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Indiana Department of Revenue. She also served as the Senate Majority Fiscal Analyst for six legislative sessions and served the Majority Caucus as a legislative assistant, Borst Fellow and intern.

Bray lauded outgoing Senate Majority Executive Director of Fiscal Policy David Reynolds for his many years of service to the Senate.

“David Reynolds has been an invaluable asset to the Indiana Senate, and frankly the entirety of our state,” Bray said. “His broad understanding of Indiana's finances and calm, competent demeanor helped forge the sound fiscal policy Indiana has enjoyed over the last several years, and though my colleagues and I in the Senate will miss him dearly, we certainly wish him the best in his new endeavor.”

Rivera will rejoin the Senate staff on July 22.
