STATEHOUSE (Feb. 19, 2024) – Dylan Hallada is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2024 legislative session, said State Sen. Ron Alting (R-Lafayette).
Hallada, a resident of West Lafayette, is the son of Daryl and Nichole Hallada. He graduated from William Henry Harrison High School and is a junior at Indiana University Indianapolis studying history and political science.
"The Senate internship offers college students and recently graduated students a wonderful opportunity to get involved in state government," Alting said. "I am happy to see Dylan grow as he continues to work for the Senate."
As a legislative intern, Hallada tracks and analyzes bill data, provides constituent services, staffs Senate committee hearings and meetings, and conducts legislative policy research.
"This internship has provided me with so many great opportunities thus far," said Hallada. "I am excited to continue learning about the bills being passed and look forward to what is to come during the session."
Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by March 14.
