70+ rural Indiana communities recognized for collaboration

Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) recently recognized more than 70 rural Indiana communities that improved their community and economy in 2018.

These communities used more than $41 million in local funding and $22 million in grants from OCRA’s Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) Program to improve their quality of life and ensure the health and safety of their citizens through a variety of projects, including sewer and water systems, community centers, health and safety programs, and many others.
