21st Century Scholars Program Deadline Extension

21st Century Scholars Program Deadline Extension

Wednesday, July 6, 2022

The previous deadline to apply for the 21st Century Scholars Program has now been extended to July 15 due to technical difficulties with the account creation portal.

Led by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, the 21st Century Scholars Program is the state's early college promise program, providing up to four years of undergraduate tuition and fee relief at Indiana colleges and universities for eligible students.

The program has provided financial support to low-income college students for 32 years. Parents of children interested in pursuing post-secondary education are encouraged to view eligibility requirements and consider enrolling in the program.

Most students who qualify for the federal free and reduced lunch guidelines qualify for the 21st Century Scholar's maximum household annual income requirement.

Parents of children in their seventh or eighth-grade year can apply online here. The child's school counselor may agree to submit an application from the Scholar Enrollment Worksheet if families do not have access to the online application.
