Statement from State Sen. Tyler Johnson
State Sen. Tyler Johnson (R-Leo) made the following statement today in response to
Gov. Eric Holcomb’s 2024 State of the State address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 9, 2024) – "As a physician, and understanding our current rankings in health, I am pleased the governor will continue taking steps to improve and prioritize health care this legislative session.
"As I continue to watch how last year's legislation impacts our communities, I am also working on a couple of bills this year that would increase access to health care services, increase transparency in those health care services and reduce overall health regulations by making various changes to insurance and health care administration.
"Our state must create opportunities to build healthy, prosperous communities, which is why I will continue to support this and other legislation that serves Hoosiers' best interests."
