Statement from State Sen. Travis Holdman
State Sen. Travis Holdman (R-Markle) made the following statement today in response to
Gov. Eric Holcomb’s 2024 State of the State address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 9, 2024) – "I'm pleased Gov. Holcomb mentioned expanding our child care workforce to help working parents as one of his priorities for this year. This session, I have authored Senate Bill 147, which focuses on child care property-tax exemption and evaluation.
"This legislation would provide a partial property-tax exemption for an employer that offers onsite child care for employees. This bill serves an incentive to all parties involved and I look forward to further discussion on passing this legislation."
