Statement from State Sen. Liz Brown
State Sen. Liz Brown (R-Fort Wayne) made the following statement today in response to
Gov. Eric Holcomb’s 2024 State of the State address:

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 9, 2024) – "After listening to the governor explain his 2024 legislative priorities, I am glad to hear there will be focus placed on health care and preparing students for a digitally driven world.

"This session, I have authored Senate Bill 132, which introduces changes to insurance and health care administration that would better serve Hoosiers by increasing access to health care services, increasing transparency in those health care services and reducing overall health regulations.

"I have also authored Senate Bill 150, which creates a task force that will study and assess the use of artificial intelligence technology by state agencies. Understanding how to safely and productively work in a digital world that continues to advance is especially important to our students who are the future of Indiana's success. This task force will be the first step in working to understand technology and how we can use it to our advantage.

"I am eager to begin discussing the impacts my and other legislation will have on our great state."
