2018 Legislative Survey Results

Thursday, February 22, 2018

Each year, Indiana Senate Republicans create legislative surveys to help determine what issues are most important to their constituents. Senators can use information from these surveys during their decision making for the legislative session.

This year’s survey included questions ranging from Sunday sales of alcohol to limiting prescription drug abuse to handgun licensing issues.

By actively participating in these surveys and staying informed, Hoosiers are able to voice their opinions and make an impact in their state government. This is also one of the best ways for Indiana lawmakers to know their constituents true opinions and values.

Both mailed-in and online responses to these surveys have been calculated for the public. This year, more than 36,000 surveys were returned via mail and more than 13,600 surveys were completed online.
