Sen. Crider welcomes local students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (Feb 16, 2024) – State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

"Pages have the unique opportunity to see the legislative process firsthand," Crider said. "It's always exciting to meet students from my district who are interested in state government. Answering questions they have about the process and having them help with tasks is a great way for them to experience learning outside the classroom."

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
