State Sen. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) delivers the keynote speech at the Ethics and Public Integrity Consortium (EPIC) meeting called by the Indiana State Board of Accounts today, July 29. Local government officials and associations gathered to hear Charbonneau’s personal experiences based on his seven years as a member of the Indiana State Senate. Having served on the Indiana Ethics Commission, Charbonneau shared his thoughts on the value of ethics and public integrity in government.
“I am thankful that organizations such as EPIC are addressing the importance of integrity in local government,” Charbonneau said. “Indiana legislators and local government officials need to work together to create more transparency and ensure the best representation for our fellow Hoosier citizens.”
