Sen. Charbonneau: Gov. Pence Supports Water Resource Study – Gov. Mike Pence (seated, center) joins legislators and representatives from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, state universities and private industry for the ceremonial signing of Senate Enrolled Act 271 at the Statehouse on Wednesday, April 30. State Sens. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso, seated on left), Sue Glick (R-LaGrange, second row, center), and Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg, second row, second left) authored the legislation, which will form a committee to hear testimony and examine water resources in Indiana. Charbonneau said this is a critical step to evaluate the availability of water in our state and ensure Indiana is managing this vital resource efficiently. Charbonneau was joined by the bill’s sponsor in the House of Representatives, State Rep. Eric Koch (R-Bedford, seated on right).
