Sen. Hershman Welcomes Local Students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (March 17, 2014) – State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Buck Creek) recently welcomed the following students to the Statehouse to serve as Senate pages:

•  Jessica Alfred, from Lafayette, attends East Tippecanoe Middle School.*

•  John Michael Beale, from Delphi, attends Delphi Community Middle School.

•  Samuel Blankenship, from Rensselaer, attends Rensselear Central Middle School.

•  Shelby Dreisbach, from Frankfort, attends Frankfort High School.

•  Zane Gottschalk, from Frankfort, attends Rossville High School.

•  Christopher Hardy, from Monon, attends Twin Lakes High School.

•  Riley Lamb, from Lebanon, attends The Master’s Study.

•  Priya Patel, from Lafayette, attends East Tippecanoe Middle School.*

•  Madeline Torok, from Lafayette, attends East Tippecanoe Middle School.*

•  Kyle Vickary, from Frankfort, attends Frankfort High School.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.
