Sen. Banks Welcomes Local Students to Statehouse

STATEHOUSE (March 17, 2014) – State Sen. Jim Banks (R-Columbia City) recently welcomed the following students to the Statehouse to serve as Senate pages:

•  Alec Boyd-Devine, from Huntertown, attends Concordia Lutheran High School.

•  Rebecca Cochran, from Columbia City, attends Most Precious Blood School.

•  Tessa Cochran, from Columbia City, attends Eagle Tech Academy.

•  Janessa Dodson, from Huntington, attends Huntington North High School.

•  Breyanna Gastineau, from Columbia City, attends Eagle Tech Academy.

•  Grace Lagemann, from Fort Wayne, attends Concordia Lutheran High School.

•  Jacob Panning, from Fort Wayne, attends Concordia Lutheran High School.

•  Blake Sailors, from Huntington, attends Huntington North High School.

•  Alex Stout, from Fort Wayne, attends Concordia Lutheran High School.

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse, touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.

Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.
