STATEHOUSE (Feb. 4, 2013) – State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Buck Creek) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse as Senate pages in January:
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing some debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.
“I encourage all middle school and high school students from our local communities to visit the Capitol during session,” Hershman said. “The Senate page program gives students the ability to experience our legislative process at the Statehouse firsthand.”
Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 4.
