STATEHOUSE (Feb. 1, 2013) – State Sen. Randy Head (R-Logansport) recently welcomed the following students to the Statehouse to serve as Senate pages:
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the chamber floor and interacting with their state senators.
“The page program gives students an opportunity to get a firsthand look at how laws are made,” Head said. “I encourage those interested in state government to enroll in this program and get involved with their local government.”
Students in grades six through 12 can participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 4.
