STATEHOUSE (June 6, 2012) — The Monticello branch of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) will be closed on Monday, June 11, for completion of a remodeling project, State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Buck Creek) reminded residents today.
To help ensure White County area Hoosiers needing BMV services are not inconvenienced by the closure, the nearby Delphi branch in Carroll County — normally closed on Mondays — will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“BMV officials want to ensure residents in our area have branches that are equipped with technology to make Hoosiers’ visits more efficient,” Hershman said. “This project is no small task as it involves rewiring the service counters, but it will be well worth the extra day needed for completion.”
Hershman added normal BMV schedules would resume Tuesday, June 12, with the Monticello branch being open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while the Delphi branch is open Tuesdays and Thursdays.
