STATEHOUSE (May 9, 2012) — “Encouraging high-paying jobs and creating a business-friendly atmosphere that continues to position Indiana as a prime location for employers both nationally and globally remain top priorities in the Indiana Senate. As Hoosiers who represent Jasper County, we’re delighted Wilson Industrial chose to expand its operations in Northwest Indiana to include Rensselaer — creating up to 15 new high-wage jobs open only to Hoosiers. This speaks great volumes about the business climate in our state, which was already recently labeled as best in the Midwest and fifth best in the nation.
“Wilson’s deep roots in Indiana date back to the 1960s, and we look forward to helping facilitate this company’s future success in the Hoosier state. Their expansion is just another example Indiana’s growing economic development in this tough economy, and we’ll continue to look for more ways to bring better jobs to our state.”
