STATEHOUSE (April 5, 2012) — State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Buck Creek) encourages area farmers to attend a local open house hosted by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) on Monday, April 9.
Hershman said IDEM is holding the public meeting to answer questions from area Hoosier farmers who own Confined Feeding Operations (CFO) or Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO) and will be affected by new confined feeding regulations.
