Area Students Visit Statehouse, Serve as Pages for State Sen. Brandt Hershman

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 28, 2011) - Area students recently visited the Statehouse and served as legislative pages for State Sen. Brandt Hershman (R-Lafayette):

Andrew Parker, a son of Tammy and Joe Parker and a student at Castle High School;

Jayme and Wyatt Martin, children of Jay and Gena Martin and homeschooled students;

Grace Hampton, a daughter of Enice and John Hampton and a student at Delphi High School;

Graham Rider, a son of Jeffery and Abby Rider and a student at Thistle Byre Academy; and

Grant Harbaugh, a son of John and Kathy Harbaugh and a student at Western High School;

Hershman said during the legislative session, pages spend one day at the Statehouse working with their senator and staff. Students interested in participating in the page program need to be in grades six through 12.
