Statement from State Sen. Eric Koch

State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) made the following statement regarding the announcement of READI 2.0 recipients:

STATEHOUSE (April 12, 2024) – "The recipients of the Indiana Regional Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) 2.0 were announced yesterday, and I am pleased to see that all of the counties I represent received funding to improve our local communities.

"Brown, Lawrence, Monroe, and Orange counties will benefit from $30 million awarded to the Indiana Uplands region, while Jackson County will benefit from $30 million awarded to the South Central region.

''Both regions put together a plan to address some of the most important economic issues impacting their communities. I look forward to seeing this investment help my district improve quality of life for all residents and continue to attract some of the best talent in the country."
