Buchanan: Indiana ESA program applications now open

STATEHOUSE (March 4, 2024) — The Indiana Education Scholarship Account (ESA) Program application is now open, said State Sen. Brian Buchanan (R-Lebanon).

Administered by the Office of the Indiana Treasurer of State, ESAs provide scholarships to students with disabilities to help fund approved educational programs, therapies, services, tuition and fees, and other education-related expenses.

"I have been, and continue to be, a strong advocate for the Indiana ESA program," Buchanan said. "Parents know their children best, and being able to select the environment that works best for their student's needs helps Hoosier families of children with disabilities get the flexibility they need so their child can receive the education they deserve."

Parents can apply for the program through Sept. 1 at in.gov/tos/inesas.

Those with questions about the ESA Program are encouraged to contact the treasurer's office by phone at 317-232-3072 or by email at ESA@tos.in.gov.
