STATEHOUSE (Nov. 21, 2023) — State Sen. Greg Walker (R-Columbus) gathered with fellow legislators today at the Statehouse for Organization Day – the ceremonial start of the Indiana General Assembly.
Organization Day marks the annual first roll call of all state lawmakers. This day also provides members of the Senate and House of Representatives with the opportunity to meet before session officially reconvenes in January. By state law, the 2024 session will conclude on or before March 14.
"This summer, many of my colleagues and I have had in-depth conversations about issues affecting Hoosiers around the state," Walker said. "I look forward to addressing some of those concerns this session to help make Indiana a greater place to live and work."
