State Sen. Ryan Mishler (R-Mishawaka) made the following statement today in response to Gov. Eric Holcomb’s 2023 State of the State address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 10, 2023) – "I am pleased to hear the governor is focused on ensuring Indiana's economic standing in the future, particularly as we are presented with opportunities to build upon our sound policymaking, even during this time of growing inflation.
"As meetings regarding the budget continue throughout this session, I'm sure we will go over a number of the topics presented in this address, including the governor's suggestion for a second round of funding for the READI program given the economic success of the first round.
"I look forward to discussing these ideas and more with my colleagues during the upcoming meetings of the Senate Committee on Appropriations."
