STATEHOUSE (July 13, 2023) — State Sen. Linda Rogers (R-Granger) will serve as chair of the Interim Study Committee on Employment and Labor and as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Pension Management Oversight in preparation for the 2024 legislative session.
"I look forward to discussing the use of valid occupational licenses and government certifications when it comes to certain professionals looking to call Indiana home," Rogers said. "I hope our work will give clarity to this issue and see what the legislature can do to bring these professionals to Indiana to improve the lives of Hoosiers."
Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is comprised of 16 voting members – eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
