GARTEN RECOGNIZES THE INDIANA LEGISLATIVE YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL: State Sen. Chris Garten (R-Charlestown) welcomes the Indiana Legislative Youth Advisory Council (ILYAC) to the Statehouse Monday, Feb. 12. Garten presented Senate Concurrent Resolution 20, which recognizes ILYAC for its high achievement and civic engagement.
Garten highlighted how imperative it is to recognize this group, as ILYAC provides legislators with their perspective on topics related to Indiana youth such as education, substance abuse, poverty, homelessness and many other subjects.
