Leising recognizes the FFA

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 23, 2022) — This week State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) presented Senate Concurrent Resolution 4, which recognizes the National FFA Organization and the Indiana FFA Association for their exemplary work in the advancement of agricultural education in Indiana and across the country.

As chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Leising presented this resolution to Nicholas Neuman, Indiana FFA Secretary and Rush County native, and Abby Stuckwisch, Southern Region FFA vice president. With over 11,600 members and 200 chapters in Indiana, FFA works to strengthen the confidence of their members and to help these students develop skills to assist in their future.

"The Indiana FFA is making a lasting impact on the future leaders of agriculture and deserves to be recognized for their hard work," Leising said. "I look forward to watching the members of FFA continue to live out their motto and leave a positive impact on their community."
