State Sen. Mark Messmer (R-Jasper) made the following statement regarding Toyota's $1.4 billion investment at its Princeton plant:
STATEHOUSE (April 25, 2024) – "For nearly 30 years, Toyota's investment in Princeton has created more than 7,500 good jobs at the facility.
"Today's announcement that Toyota will invest an additional $1.4 billion and add up to 340 more jobs at the plant is another prime example of the excellent work Indiana has done in recent years to attract record-breaking investment and high-quality jobs for Hoosiers.
"I am excited to see what the future has in store for Toyota's Princeton plant and the tremendous economic benefit this investment will bring to southwest Indiana."
